Procedures / Surgeries Offered: | The following is a list of common procedures at our office and affiliated locations.

- Prostate Biopsy: ultrasound probe is inserted in the rectum. Sound waves from the probe are used to create images on a video monitor. With the images as a guide, a small biopsy needle is inserted through the rectum into the prostate. Tissue samples are removed for further examinations. The tissue samples are sent to lab for a diagnosis.
- Vasectomy: having a vasectomy should be considered a permanent decision. The two vas deferens are cut and sealed off. This prevents sperm from being able to travel from the testes to the penis.
- Cystoscopy: Allows the physician to look to look directly inside your urethra and bladder. This can be used to help diagnose a problem with your urethra, bladder, or kidneys.
- BCG Bladder treatments: for the treatment of bladder cancer.
- Interstim: procedure performed in the office to help relive overactive bladder symptoms. Please visit this link for more information on the procedure
- Urodynamic / CMG Study: A series of tests that gives the physician a detailed look at the functino of your bladder and urethra. This study may be recommended if you have problems with storing or voiding urine.
- Prostate Cyrotherapy: Treatment for prostate cancer, a procedure that uses ice to destroy prostate cancer.
- Prostatectomy: Removal of the prostate gland for the treatment of prostate cancer.
- Nephrectomy: Removal of kidney for various reasons.
- Provenge Infusion: Treatment for prostate cancer. Provenge is made from your own immune cells. Your cells will be collected at a cell collection center approximately 3 days before each scheduled infusion of Provenge. Provenge will then be infused by IV in our office.
